"This afternoon after having a wonderful lunch I received some items (pictured above) that were my ex-husbands before he passed away in 2003. His girl friend had kept cards, pictures, and some of his clothing for 5 years and now that she is happily engaged to a wonderful man (who joined us for lunch) she contacted me and asked if I'd like to have them to give to our daughters when they are older. It has been years since I'd seen anything that belonged to him, it was wonderful, and painful, but made me remember not only who he was, but how much of a good dad he was to our girls."

These things are beautiful & will be cherished by your daughters forever. How wonderful that the two of you were thoughtful enough to keep them for the children.
