This is just about the best sandwich ever. White bread, tomatoes, mayo (which I normally DO NOT eat) and liberal amounts of salt.
Eating a tomato sandwich makes me feel like everything is right with the world.

I too, love, tomato sandwiches. I'm growing some of my own tomatoes in my backyard specifically for the purpose of making tomato sandwiches.
