"Touch-me-nots" are a fun wildflower in the late summer. Though these aren't quite there yet, when the seed capsules mature, they literally explode when touched, sending seeds flying for several feet.
You can eat the seeds Linda - They have a slight walnut flavor to them... and the mature seeds are robin egg blue, if you lightly scratch off the outer coating. The succulent stems are also excellent for soothing insect bits and nettle sting...

Wow! I didn't know any of that. I'll have to munch on one the next time I'm around mature seeds!
