Reenie 315/365
I just got off the phone with my mother and am feeling better. My mommy had
all the right words. :)
I've been going through a few bumps lately. Nothing big. Nothing small. But
you can see that tears recently visited my eyes. :(
On the upside, my mother is moving in with me in early November. I'm
thrilled! It's extra nice that friends and family are supportive. Next week
I break ground on an addition to my home. Her bedroom will be the existing
guestroom, but I'm adding a fairly large living space with a full bath and
small kitchette and its own entrance. Everything is geared to code for
handicaps. I want my mom to have her own space and not feel like a guest in
my home - yet we will share meals etc. The kitchenette is so she can
fiddle-faddle with her own breakfast and middle-of-the-night raids. Someday
in the future, this will be a good space for me as well a a rental before I
need it.
Also on the upside. I love my woods.
Also on the upside: I have you. xoxo Reens

How lucky is your mom to have you, and how lucky are you to want and be able to do this.
How nice for both you and your mother. The support and companionship of our family becomes more and more important as we get older. I hope the remodeling goes smoothly!
