This is a blood clot on day three of my period, with my foot for scale.
It's ugly and horrible and I hate that my body will not behave, and I hate
that my Primary Care Trust has the right to refuse me treatment at this time
on the grounds that I'm not over 30. A friend suggested taking this photo to
show my Doctor. I might just do that.

hi i had something like that a couple of days ago but i had really bad cramps in my lower stomach, back and legs. mine was a little bit thicker and only about half the length. If you do find out what it means please let me know :)
I'm sorry sweetie, but you probably had a miscarriage that's what yours sounds like.
well I must have one every other day then, what insensitive rubbish! don't bank on the over 30 thing either, as soon as I hit 30 they changed it to over 35 and after that I'm still waiting ..... all they say is let us fit a coil!
Ive had something very similar for past 7 months, I've been passing blood clots (very dark in colour) & tissue (very red & Pink in colour) I've had 9 miscarriages and my gp is hopeless n reluctant to do anything as I'm young (25) I haven't been on the pill for atleast 9 month & haven't been caught out that I know of.
when I've looked into this problem more myself it only points to 1 main thing - endometriosis. .
I would go to your gp, demand something be done - tests even if it's just for your reassurance. I'm not sure if you've had a c. Smear yet / lately - maybe get another one soon to erasure yourself xx
I'm sure it's nothing serious but I would get it seen too as I am n if I don't get any tests ect I will be making a formal complaint to the nhs.
Fed up of getting 'it's normal' I'm sure us women as individuals know what is n isn't normal for our bodies xxx
