My buddy, Cheri, and I took a second and final shot at having a garage sale
at my house (we had 4 1/2" of rain during the first attempt last weekend).
At one point, we realized that whatever we took out of the garage and put in
the front yard sold quickly (about 75% of the time), such as these
attention-getters that we made out of old Halloween costumes, poles for
cross-country skis, and a lamp. All in all, we had fun, made a good chunk
of change, and cleared a bunch of stuff out. It worked!
