We saw quite a few moose on this trip. About 250 of them live within the
Anchorage city limits. One of the locals told us that sometimes you can't
get out of the door of your house, because there's a moose munching away on
the plants in your yard. They're huge.

COOL!! I've always wanted to see a wild moose - and still didn't manage to see one when we were out West. I guess it's North...to A-Laska!

We had moose in NH too and you can't imagine how huge ( and really smelly) they are until you have one...on your deck...looking at you through the sliding glass door...
