The driver of this car was okay, no major injuries at all. The reason: he was trashed, shitfaced drunk. One of the horrible injustices I face almost every shift: a drunk driver is relaxed on impact because his or her reflexes are so slow, whereas the sober people see the crash about to happen and brace themselves - and that's where the injuries come from. (in this case, though, nobody in the other car was hurt too seriously either)
