First coat is down. Looks good so far. She's working on the second coat as I type this. Moldings will be covering the edges where the wall and floor meet...so it won't look so unfinished as it does right now. Looking at this, I realize we need to paint the window trim black too.

That's going to be striking. What kind of furniture?
It's a teenage girl's bedroom. She's got a queen size bed, a desk, a dresser, an antique vanity that was mine when I was her age, and a night stand. We painted the desk and dresser black, but didn't want to mess with the vanity. No headboard on the bed...the nightstand was already black, and we painted her shelves black too. Her bedding is black and white. When we get it all done, I'll put up photos. It's looking pretty sweet right now!
