This made me smile. When I lived in Laguna Beach my son and I joined Surfriders. He was 7 and my age was old. Neither one of us had, nor have since been on a surfboard, but we liked the organization's mission to keep beaches clean, so David and I adopted a beach and cleaned it nearly every week.
We have a guy that helps out part time who is the president of our local chapter. It's a great organization
