Saw my first grizzly! This was in Grand Teton. The bear was covering up an
elk carcass, maybe 50-60 yards away from the road. I was pretty excited!

I LOVE the two birds on the branch. They're so engrossed in each other, they don't see the bear. GREAT CAPTURE!
Yikes! AWESOME shot!
At one point, the bear turned around and the birds swooped in for a nibble... the bear whirled around and chased them off. The crowd watching this from the road (under the watchful supervision of a couple of park rangers) ooohed and ahhhhed!
How awesome that you got to see a grizzly! We only saw a little black bear from a ways off while we were at Yellowstone/Grand Teton.
