"Studying for my Life in the UK test which I take tomorrow. I need to pass
in order to make my application for permanent residency in the UK (which
will save me having to apply for a visa again, hurray).
Hmm. Looking at my notes maybe I am slightly anal. But how am I supposed to
know what percentage of the population of the UK is made up of ethnic
minorities, or how many thousands of refugees the UK has accepted from
Southeast Asia since 1979?!
Here's my favorite fact: 84% of the UK's population lives in London.
Amazing, but also not entirely suprising if you've ever commuted during rush
hour!"

Oh sista - I hear you - I have my Canadian permanent residency application partly completed, but am waiting for the school board to get back on a decision about a waiver to have Em schooled in English ( if no waiver, then she would have to go to French school)
