Sand Island lighthouse that is no longer on Sand Island. We took a
boat ride that took us to see the lighthouse, get near a few of the
natural gas drilling platforms in the Gulf, and a bit of drag net
fishing to see the small fish at the bottom. Luckily, a family of five
staying two doors away from our beach house took the same cruise. Our
combined six children enjoyed the trip until the end when we all got
caught in a driving rainstorm. Still, fun.
